Sara Vey

Sara is a Canadian dressage rider and trainer with a lifelong background in horsemanship and performance development.

Growing up with horses and riding since the age of six, she began working alongside qualified coaches starting young horses at just fourteen years old.

Her foundation in producing horses has been strengthened through experience as a working student for two Grand Prix dressage trainers, as well as consistent success developing and showing horses through the levels.

With a strong focus on young horse development and high-performance sport, Sara has competed FEI young horses through to Intermediate 2, earning results at both national and FEI levels. She has also had the opportunity to ride in clinics with several highly respected international and Olympic-level clinicians, including Stephen Clarke, Lilo Fore, Anne Gribbons, David Marcus, and Lindsay Kellock.

Sara is also a participant in the BC Technical Director Program under Omar Zayrik, continuing her commitment to professional development and excellence in sport.

Sara is recognized for her thoughtful, soft training approach and consistent results in both young horse and FEI competition.

Since 2014, Sara has been mentored and trained by Eiren Crawford, and now operates Aligned Dressage along side Eiren and All Points Dressage out of Corner Creek Farm in Oyama, BC.
